About Me

My name is Mary. I live in Idaho in a small house on a quarter acre lot in the city limits. I have lived both in town and rural. I always thought I would be living on a farm or acreage. 

I am married to a wonderful man who has put in a lot of hard work into turning this yard into a garden.

We have two children.  I work from home as a medical transcriptionist and homeschool. 

We have rabbits that give us fertilizer for the garden. 


I hope you enjoy reading and following along as I try to improve our garden and learn to love living in a small house on a small lot.



Joshua 24:15 "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.'     Hello Mary,
    Just stumbled upon you via Rhonda at 'Down to earth' , I too enjoy growing food in the garden during our spring & summer.

      I just saw this comment. My very first comment. Thank you so much! I hope you have a productive year also. I wish more of my friends would enjoy gardening. There is so much you can grow even in a small yard.
